Responsibilities

 

 

JOB SUMMARY
 

Responsible for the administrative support of the Patient Care Director to facilitate efficient operation of the department. Performs complex and diversified projects in support of the activities for the assigned areas. If Level 2, must a) Perform high level administrative oversight to an extremely busy department, b) Works in support of management activities of the various assigned areas. c) Expected to work with or without supervision of the department heads.


 

Qualifications

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    • Associate Degree in a related area and minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business office.  May substitute 2 additional years of experience in lieu of Associates Degree.
  2. Skills:
    • Ability to type 45 correct words per minute.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Skilled with Internet research and navigation. Must be highly analytical with skills in data analysis and visual presentation of information.
    • Mastery of essential general office procedures; healthcare terminology and systems preferred.
    • Skilled in extracting and compiling technical data; report format for tables, graphs, slides, and statistical reports.
  3. Professional Requirements:
    • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Displays professional demeanor, ethical conduct, personal integrity, and safeguard confidential matter.
    • Ability to anticipate departmental and daily needs and makes sound decision in the absence of detailed instructions.
    • Self-starter and proficiency with problem resolution..
