Responsibilities

Hours of Operation: Monday- Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM 

  • The Sr. Process Improvement Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing organizational excellence through leadership in process improvement.
  • Leveraging deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, this role is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing workflows, and ensuring high standards of patient/client care.
  • In addition to leading complex process improvement initiatives, the Lead serves as a mentor and preceptor to new and junior Process Improvement Specialists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistency in methodology and execution.
  • This role also coordinates the planning, prioritization, and execution of process improvement projects and training programs across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications

 

  1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required, Black Belt preferred.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  2. Skills:
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement and project management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
      • Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software.
      • Have an ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure required.
  3. Professional Requirements:
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
