These three hospices are now one branch of Trustbridge, a community nonprofit that provides support for families facing serious illness 24 hours a day. Responsibilities

Hours of Operation: M-F-830am-5pm
Occasionally may have to work some nights and weekends

  • Trustbridge is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care that respects diverse cultural and religious traditions.
  • Our Jewish Hospice Program, Tikvah, aims to support Jewish patients and their families by honoring their cultural and spiritual needs during a critical time.
  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Associate to join our team and help enhance our outreach efforts.
  • The Program Associate will provide administrative and programmatic support to the Director of Jewish Outreach.
  • This role is essential for facilitating outreach initiatives, organizing educational programs, and ensuring that our Jewish patients and families receive culturally sensitive support.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong connection to Jewish community values, excellent organizational skills, and a compassionate disposition.

Qualifications

 

  1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Skills:
    • Familiarity with Jewish customs, traditions, and community structures.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully within a diverse team.
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient and family interactions.
    • Proficient in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and comfortable with technology.
    • Previous experience in a nonprofit environment, programming, education, healthcare, and hospice.
    • Hebrew language proficiency is a plus.
  3. Professional Requirements:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
