Responsibilities

Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5pm

  • The Manager of Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving process improvement and managing projects for the Empath Health enterprise.
  • This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, patient/customer care, and overall organizational performance through the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Additionally, the Manager of Continuous Improvement will supervise a team of process improvement specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

 

  1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  2. Skills:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement and project management within a healthcare setting.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  3. Professional Requirements:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
