Responsibilities

 

Job Summary

 

  • Under the supervision and oversight of the President, Hospice Programs, this position serves as the professional marketing and administrative leader directing, planning, and assuring the effective operations of the Admissions and Business Development teams for one or more Hospice Programs.
  • This includes leading and developing a high performing team as well as the development, implementation and administration of admission processes that maximize ease of access while meeting regulatory requirements while ensuring access to care and excellent service to referral sources, patients and families.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Nursing. Master’s degree preferred.
  • If RN Degree: Current FL RN with continuing education: Per FL RN licensure specifications.
  • A minimum of three five (5) years experience with proven ability to lead and manage quality, customer service, and navigation of programs and services.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, and public relations with demonstrated success.
  • Extensive understanding of hospice philosophy, mission, goals, and best practice.
  • Previous management in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
  • Extensive understanding and experience leading admissions clinical and support staff.
  • In depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
  • Colleague must sign a Business Protection Agreement.
  • Current clear and active FL driver’s license.
  • This position requires travel between locations within the community and other Empath Health locations as needed.
