Responsibilities

Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5pm

  • The Executive Director will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of major gift fundraising initiatives for Trustbridge Hospice Foundation, focusing on Broward County.
  • This includes overseeing major and planned giving programs, capital campaigns, and donor cultivation efforts to meet or exceed a revenue target of $1.5M+.
  • The role involves building relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations, while collaborating with the Foundation President, the Broward Advisory Council, staff, and community leaders.
  • Leadership in donor relations, team management, and strategic communications is essential.
  • The Executive Director is charged with community leadership to position the Foundation among the leading not-for-profit charities in Broward & Palm Beach Counties to significantly grow its reach, impact and assets.
  • Reporting to the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation President, the Executive Director supports and advances the goals, objectives and culture within the Foundation and the communities we serve.

 

Qualifications

 

 

Education/Regulatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered as meeting the Education/Professional requirements. 
  • CFRE certification preferred

Skills:

  • Minimum of nine (9) years in fundraising of a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit or foundation
  • Experience in revenue and culture building not-for-profits and foundations
  • Proficiency with CRM systems. Raiser's Edge is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in managing donor portfolios and achieving revenue goals.

Professional Requirements:

  • Strong strategic planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of Raiser's Edge.
  • Requires excellent oral & written communication skills.
