Responsibilities

Hours of Operation:  8:30am - 5:00pm

 

The Executive Assistant to the VP of Clinical Operations is a high-level administrative position that works closely with the VP of Clinical Operations, but also supports the Chief Medical Officer and VP of Business Development to help execute the organization’s operational goals. An important responsibility is to ensure that operational information is communicated in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner. The Executive Assistant manages the daily time, correspondence, and travel for the executive for which they are assigned. This position may provide additional administrative support for other departments within the organization as necessary. Expected to work with or without supervision of executive management.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related area and minimum of 3 years of experience in a business office with one year as an executive secretary or administrative assistant. May substitute 2 additional years of experience for Associate degree.
  • Ability to type 45 correct words per minute.
  • Must be highly analytical with skills in data analysis and visual presentation of information.
  • Extensively proficient in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. Must be proficient with Internet research and navigation.
  • Mastery of essential general office procedures; healthcare terminology and systems preferred.
  • Self-starter and effective problem solver. Excellent and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displays professional demeanor and maintains confidentiality. Friendly, courteous and team oriented.
  • Highly organized and has an ability to anticipate departmental and daily needs without constant direction. Self-directed in ability to follow through on assignments, in a timely manner.
