Starting Pay range:  $18/hr. - $19/hr. based on experience

Responsibilities 

Hours of operation:  Wednesday thru Saturday from11:00 AM to 9:30PM

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • Provides pick-up and delivery services for all DME and oxygen equipment to patients and families. 
  • Instructs clients as to the proper use of equipment.
  • Responsible for the final inspection of equipment prior to delivery. 
  • Completes home safety assessment relating to patients environment for safety purposes. 
  • Maintains quality compliance and adheres to all infection control practices and policies. 
  • This position involves direct contact with patients and families so must communicate effectively and provide a high level of customer service.

 

Qualifications

 

 

 

     Skills:

o    Requires 1-3 years working experience, preferably in a courier/delivery setting.

o    Must have good personal hygiene and be neat in appearance.

o    Requires valid Florida class two (2) driver’s license, a good driving record, and adequate insurance coverage.

o    Must have an excellent knowledge of the Palm Beach County road systems.

 

     Professional Requirements:

o    Works well under stress and can effectively handle multiple activities at once.

o    Requires excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
