Pay range: $15/hr.  - $16/hr.

Responsibilities

Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5pm

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • Performs duties to assure timely, accurate, and cost-effective receipt of special order supplies throughout the organization, including the receipt, storage and issuance of materials, forms, and other items directly or indirectly related to patient care, from the central distribution warehouse. 
  • Responsible for the processing of medical supply orders through the perpetual inventory system for all inpatient units and regional offices. 
  • Takes initiative with minimal to no supervision. 
  • Must be a critical thinker with the ability to make judgment calls and decisions based on the needs of the organization.   
  • Will be able to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.   
  • May periodically drive company van to stock locations for replenishment of inventory 

 

Qualifications

 
  1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    •  High school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
    •  Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license, automobile insurance and a clean driving record.
  2. Skills:
    • Computer experience (data entry) highly desirable.
    • Experience in a Materials/Stock/Inventory Control environment, preferably in a health care setting.
  3. Professional Requirements
    • Relates to patients, families, visitors and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
    • Self-motivated, efficient, mature.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
